Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey, Trongsa, Bumthang & Paro

Day 1 Paro – Thimphu 

Enjoy the beautiful majestic view of the Himalayan Mountains as you are approaching Paro international Airport. Then, drive to the fantastic capital of Thimphu that does not use traffic lights for the direction through scenic road, refreshing yourself with a cool river breeze. Visit impressive Tachog Lhakhang on your way, and the giant Buddha statue offers spiritual sites and the fantastic Thimphu valley view. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 2 Explore Thimphu 

Hiking to Cheri monastery, ascend & descend through the lush forest of blue pine, fir, and the rhododendron, do not miss the beautiful sights of wondering goral (wild goat). Spend your time visiting the national museum and temples in the area, offering cultural and spiritual views and the ancient lifestyle of Bhutan. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 Thimphu – Phobjikha 

Drive to the Phobjikha valley, ascending 3000- meter mountain passes and valleys with panoramic view. Meet with the local people visiting villages and discover the unique lifestyle. Visit the essential and biggest Nyingmapa monastery located at the hilltop offering a superb panoramic view of the valley—a walk-in gentle nature trial with pristine landscapes through the Pine forest. Make a quick visit to Black Necked Crane Centre to get information about habitats in the valley. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Phobjikha – Bumthang

Enjoy the cloud and sunrise early morning. Then, drive to the heartland of a country visiting imposing Trongsa Dzong and historic Ta Dzong. Finally, stop visiting Yathra Weaving Centre, a famous place of unique hand-woven textile with intricate designs, which is found in this Chumey valley region. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Explore Bumthang

Visit 7th-century renowned Jambay Lhakhang, and it was one of the 108 stupas built by the Tibetan Emperor to pin down the demoness and get along the introduction of Buddhism to the people. Then, visit Kurjey Lhakhang and Tamshing monastery with our insightful representatives before going back to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 6 Explore Bumthang

Unfold your day visiting Tang Valley and the sacred Mebar Tsho (Flamming lake), said that Treasurer Pema Lingpa had a vision of discovering the treasure with the butter lamp from the lake. Then, visit Tang Ogyen Choling Palace and the Museum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 Bumthang – Trongsa 

Experience the ascend and descend drive to the historic Trongsa valley, with a beautiful view of deep valleys. First, visit the winter palace of the second king- Kinga Rabten, and offers an insight into Bhutan’s monarchy in the early days. Then, enjoy staying at the Take village with impressive waterfalls, rice fields, and the Karma Drubdey Nunnery. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 Trongsa – Punakha 

Reached to picturesque Punakha valley with gentle drive through the lush forest and cool air. Visit majestic Punakha Dzong, standing at the junction of the two famous rivers overlooking the lush valley. Walk to the longest suspension bridge adorned with multicolored prayer flags gracing beautifully along the whole bridge. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 Punakha – Paro

On your journey to iconic Paro valley, visit the famous Chimi Lhakhang, a fertility temple; said that women who wish to have a child could get the blessing from the temple. Then, visit Paro Rinpong Dzong and the National Museum showcasing an impressive collection of galleries. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 Explore Paro

Hike to famous Takshang monastery stands on a sheer cliff with an elevation of 3000 m. Discover the legendary history and meditate for a while. Then, walk back and visit the oldest Kyichu, Lhakhang. One of the 108 sites established by the Tibetan Emperor in the 7th century, and spend some time in the beautiful Paro town with our representatives. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 Departure 

Today, our representatives will escort you to the Paro international airport for your departure.
