Sagala Trek

2 Nights 3 Days

Beautiful panoramic view trek traversing the mountain trail separating Haa and Paro valley. The track was used in ancient times to travel, to help each other for crop plantation and harvest. Soak in the Panoramic picturesque view of Haa valley, gorgeous view of the passes, Mt. Jhomolari, Mt. Grageygang, and other pass hiking through pine forest, flowers, Rhododendron trees, shrubs, and meadows with fresh cool air.

Day 1 Haa- Sagala Pass

Distances: 20-minute drive, 8k, 4hours hike, Camp Altitude: 3235m

Begin your day driving on the unpaved road until reaching the endpoint of Talung village. Then, start your hike gradually through the yak herder camp acclimatizing yourself to the altitude. Finally, enjoy hiking through the meadows with beautiful views along your journey, reaching the Khadey Gom, a field peacefully located below Sagala Pass.

Day 2 Sagala Pass – Ningula Pass

Distances: 12k, 5-6hours hike, Camp Altitude: 4191m

Enjoy the beautiful sunrise, begin your hike to the Sagala pass, and enjoy a spectacular view of snow-capped mountains, including Mt. Jhomolhari, Mt. Jitchu Drake. After several climbs up and down through the trails of meadows and Rhododendron, reached Ningula pass. Spend your time enjoying the Paro valley view, Tiger’s Nest pass, and the spectacular ranges. Overnight at the campsites.

Day 3 Ningula Pass- Chelela Pass – Paro

Distance: 13k, Duration: 6-7hours,

Today, hiking through the ridge of mountains, forest, shrubs ascending up and down will be awesome. The trail offers a spectacular view of Himalayan ranges, Haa valley, and Paro valley. Make a stop at every viewpoint to make a photo memory until reaching Chelela pass. Then, drive to Paro and enjoy your leisure time. Overnight at the hotel.

Every individual crew plays a vital role in the mission’s success, supporting each other in the supervision of the guide and chef. All are more experienced, have good knowledge of the destination, are tough to fight against every misfortune, and are well trained in emergency first aids and mountain sickness.

In every destinated campsite, Lavish food items are served with our chef’s designed food menu. Every food item is delicious, hygienic, organic, which can boost your energy. Bottle of water and boiled water are served as per your needs.
